Brazuca 4.0

One of the most energetic and exciting events of Rotaract Club of Heritage Institute of

Technology, the fourth edition of Brazuca was yet again a huge success. The primary purpose behind organising this event on a grand scale is to bring together football enthusiasts to play the game they love, while providing a platform for underprivileged teams to showcase their talents.

Sixteen teams registered for the tournament including two underprivileged teams. Matches were conducted on a knockout basis, starting with a round of 16, followed by quarter finals, semi-finals and a final. At the end of each match, the players were provided with water, glucose and refreshments. After the first round, we had a lunch break where all the teams were escorted to the college canteen for lunch. Then the tournament resumed with renewed energy.

The event ended with medals and

trophies (for the winner, the runners-up and the best player) being handed out by our sports faculty. We also gave handmade cards to the faculty members, thanking them for helping us in organising the entire event, from field grooming, to providing referees. Rtr. Shayan Dutta, ADS of Rotaract RID 3291, and Udita Nandi, ZR of Zone 5, graced our event as well with their

precious presence.
